Before time began...
We were One.
Dancing balls of firey Love
Colliding and laughing and whole.
Before we dreamed of you
We knew.
We knew every color and every hue,
Every aurora of all that is True
Every seed and every tree
That would cure every disease.
Before we breathed upon the dust,
We planned.
Already scars were on our hands.
The cost of Love was not too great
We knew the price to Co-Create.
Before Beginning and all the sinning,
And the thought that death was winning,
We planted resurrection deep
Into fabric eternity.
Before an animal was killed
And Able's story unfulfilled,
We set the constellations spinning,
Alarms to mark our hour of stinging.
Before we knit your hearts together,
Made them strong for life to weather,
We placed a hole there deep inside,
For Breath of Life therein to hide.
We calculated every choice,
Tied our will to give yours voice,
Made sure we'd take the greatest fall,
To have Free Love we'd give it all.
And I promise you we did,
The scars are marked on our eyelids,
We tore our Oneness straight in two,
For the chance to have just you.
This story spins into the future,
So many wounds left still to suture,
But mark our words we feel it all,
Every break and every fall.
And not a single tear has fallen,
On the ground that we've forgotten,
We've taken every dark death tomb
Turned it into a cocoon.
