The world is so so loud.

And you are so quiet... 

We have to lean in to listen. 

Still heart, still mind, still soul. 

Waiting to hear you. Waiting for you to come close. 

Rid my mind of all the loud chatter - the bangity clangity clitter clatter. 

I want to hear you. 

I want to see you. 

I want to feel you.

Like a whirlwind all around, 

Whirl away the reckless sound,

Until it's only you and me,

Sitting still out by the sea. 

Life is full of laying down,  

Heavy burdens on the ground, 

Letting all the darkness flee, 

So that clearly we can see. 

Just because we all can know, 

Everything they have to show, 

Doesn't mean that we should listen, 

To their ever present hissin. 

Put it down and turn it off, 

What you've seen is quite enough, 

Yes the world is full of pain, 

But it's eating up your brain. 

What good will come if you're the one, 

To hear every cry and gun, 

When in the end there's only One, 

Who can rise up like the Sun.

And bring peace to everyone.
