Akiane, Truth, and Love

There is a girl (now 20 actually) who is a child prodigy. She started seeing visions of God and heaven and even went there physically a few times beginning when she was 4 years old. Even though she was homeschooled, with no television, magazines, or internet, and very few friends, she started telling her parents the things she was seeing. They at first didn't know what to think because neither one of them believed in God and they knew she could not have heard any of this information from anyone else. They were a very isolated family.

I have never seen so much truth portrayed in so beautifully a way as on her website - through her magnificent paintings and poetry... I've been exploring it all weekend and can't stop going back to the website to read all the poetry and look at all the art work - trying to understand this world and Love and the deeper meanings behind life that mere religion could never fill me with.

If you're searching for truth, this is just me putting up a signpost that I think I found somewhere to go look. I'm headed there myself and I just thought I'd leave this as a clue for anyone else searching as well.

Love you all. Love and truth go hand in hand. We get to choose how much of God we have - little or much He offers it all. The question is, are we willing to dig it out.

I found her looking for a picture of Jesus that was not religious and awkward and empty. I found her painting - "Prince of Peace" - and it is amazing. She painted it when she was 8 years old from visions she saw of Jesus and, apparently, the little boy from "Heaven is For Real" said it was exactly what Jesus looked like when he went to heaven and saw him... it's stunning.

He is stunning.
